As a team of Christ-followers, we believe that we have a responsibility not only to accept Christ as individuals but also to dynamically impact the world around us for Him.
Because of our desire to make a difference, Bethel Youth Group offers a number of challenging opportunities to grow in Christ. In addition to regular Sunday School classes, both junior and senior high students spend time together on Wednesday and Sunday evenings studying God’s Word, worshiping, playing games, and growing in unity as a team. Special outreach events and group activities are planned every year. These diverse opportunities range from “Boot Camps” to “Christmas Wrap-Ups” to “Prom Alternatives,” with other fun events in between.
Special highlights for Bethel Youth are the trips taken each summer. The youth group has a three-year rotation. One summer we travel to LIFE, the mass youth conference of the Christian and Missionary Alliance held in the United States. The next year, we travel in-country on a service missions trip (locations vary). Finally, every third summer the Bethel Youth have the chance to travel overseas on a short term missions trip. These opportunities not only offer chances to grow in fellowship and experience new things…they give us as youth a chance to grow in faith and live out our relationships with Jesus, whether we stay at home and support our friends in prayer or whether we ourselves are doing the traveling.
Through regular weekly events, special activities, and week-long trips, the Bethel Youth Group seeks to glorify God, imitate Christ, and spread the Good News to a needy world.
