Jesus declared that the temple would be “a house of prayer” (Mt. 21.13). Well, we’re the temple now, and we’re taking another step toward becoming what Christ wants. Every Sunday, the elders meet in the Korpis’ classroom at 9:00 to pray for Bethel, for the service, and for our members. Everyone is invited to join us! Come as often as you can, stay as long as you like. In fact, Spurgeon always had people praying right through the entire service, and he credited his success to that. Prayer is the first work of God’s people, so let’s be found doing our Father’s work.
